These terms cover your use of the AI Honesty Badge website at https://www.aihonestybadge.com and the badges it offers. By using the website or a badge, you agree to them.
What AI Honesty Badge is
AI Honesty Badge offers free badges ("No AI", "AI Assisted" and "AI Generated") that you can add to your website or content to say how artificial intelligence was used in making it.
Using the badges
The badges are free to use. You can embed them using the code snippets on the website, which load the badge image from our servers and link back to aihonestybadge.com.
You're responsible for choosing the badge that honestly describes your content. We don't check or verify how any content was made, and a badge on a site is that site owner's statement, not ours.
Please don't alter the badges to misrepresent what they say, or use them in a way that suggests we endorse your content.
The Honesty Wall
If you ask for your site to be listed on the Honesty Wall, we may list or remove it at our discretion.
Availability
We provide the website and badges as they are. We aim to keep them available but can't guarantee they always will be, and we may change or stop serving them.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss arising from your use of the website or the badges.
Privacy
How we handle data is explained in our Privacy Policy at https://www.aihonestybadge.com/privacy-policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
